المرح في مجال الطعام

As we finish up our last week of fieldwork at Tombos, we feature a bit of fun from our field house cuisine.  Our team can be quite creative in their culinary masterpieces.  Pictured here is the “Caldwell”, named for the creator, PhD Anthropology student, Sarah Caldwell. It consists of a Sudanese biscuit, locally made peanut butter, a sprinkle of salt, and six dark chocolate M&Ms brought by Stuart.  On the right is the “Smith” variation of the “Caldwell”, named for Stuart Tyson Smith who tests the limits of the treat by adding two additional dark chocolate M&Ms!

إستمدينا بعض المرح من طبق طعام باستراحة المنزل بنهاية هذا الموسم. أعضاء الفريق مبدعين أحيانا في إعداد أطباقهم المميزة و علي سبيل المثال فقد سمي طبق الحلوي في الصورة بكالدول “Caldwell” علي اسم معدته طالبة دكتوراة الانثربولوجيا سارة كالدول Sara Caldwell و هو مكون من بسكويت سوداني و زبدة الفول السوداني مع القليل من الملح و ستة حبات من شوكولاتة M&Ms أتي بها أستيوارد Stuart. الشكل الثاني من حلوي كالدول الي الجهة اليمني أُطلق عليه اسم إسميث “Smith” و سمي باسم استوارد تايسون إسميث Stuart Tyson Smith الذي تزوق مدي حلاوتها بإضافة قطعتين من حلوي الشكولاتة الداكنة M&Ms
